Multifunctional access control system
The AccessLab teaching system is an access control system. It uses real components both at the level of actuators and control devices.
The system is instrumented so that it can be controlled and electrical quantities can be measured.
4 actuators of different technologies (one electric deadbolt lock, one electromagnetic suction cup, one electric strike, one electric lock with electric release)
3 control devices (keypad, fingerprint reader, RFID badge reader)
1 electronic card with an Arduino Leonardo card, allowing the acquisition of analogue quantities (voltages and currents) and the control-command of the actuators from information supplied by a fingerprint reader and other peripherals,
1 interface TCP/IP et 1 interface Wiegand
1 external power supply 12V 3A
1 access management software under Windows associated with the control block.
The AccessLab teaching system is an excellent support for practical activities for the SI, STI2D and NSI specialities. It can also be used for second year classes, SNT and optional SI / CIT.
The system is supplied with the pedagogical activities:
Multiphysical and behavioural modelling of a system or part of a system (Matlab-simulink-simscape)
The temporal management of an event-driven system, either by a literal algorithm or by state diagrams (Matlab-simulink-stateflow)
Scanning applied to obtaining a body feature: how to scan a fingerprint from a finger scan
System using 4 actuator technologies and 3 control devices
Technical file with SysML description, 3D modelling in SolidWoks, Matlab-Simulink multiphysical model (Simscape, Stateflow) and Arduino programs with associated libraries.
